ABOUT EMMY
Hi, I’m Emmy. I live and work in Merseyside with my husband and our two rescue dogs.
I’ve been doodling on everything from a young age, and my style is characterised by a blend of digital illustration and mixed media. My work captures moments, emotions, and memories, reflecting my background in both Art and Nursing, with a focus on human relationships, communication & wellbeing.
My illustrations are detailed and vibrant, and my subjects range from whimsical portraits to everyday scenes, with a particular interest in creating a feeling of warmth and nostalgia. Additionally, I incorporate a variety of mediums, including gouache, ink, collage, and digital techniques, creating a layered and textural aesthetic.
My style is also shaped by my commitment to community and social impact, as seen in the creation of Art Ease CIC, a grassroots, non-profit organisation i created in 2024, aimed at making art accessible and supporting well-being through workshops and community projects.
I work with individuals, charities and global brands as well as local businesses and authors to fulfill varied and exciting briefs and projects. In my spare time, I love DIY culture, walking my dogs, going to gigs, swimming, knitting, sewing, hiking, reading, cooking delicious food and going dancing with friends.
